Teacher Workshops
The LIGO Science Education Center offers professional development workshops for science teachers focused on inquiry-based learning, hands-on activities, and core physical science concepts. Supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation, we partner with local organizations to advance Louisiana's efforts to expand access to high-quality STEM education.
Our professional development team includes experienced educators, including former classroom teachers trained by the Exploratorium Museum in inquiry-based instruction.
