On October 17th LIGO Science Education Center in Livingston, LA, will be hosting it's monthly Science Saturday when we are open to the public from 1 PM - 5 PM. In celebration of Halloween we invite you to dress as your favorite scientist, and to come and combine your image with the image of other scientists. Then, while you're here engage in some scientific exploration of your own! We are currently trying to detect gravitational waves so please drive slowly and carefully as you approach the site! This will also be your last chance to experience exhibits such as the tornado and bridge exhibits before they leave.
